Main Responsibilities as a Senior Works Planner
- Review logic, dependencies, durations, and interfaces.
- Perform schedule quality checks and address issues such as float, logic, and constraints.
- Thoroughly analyse and report on the main contractor’s P6 programmes.
- Review and report on milestone progress.
- Document and manage schedule assumptions and risks.
- Assist in developing a Baseline Schedule Narrative.
- Coordinate resource allocation, monitor utilisation, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate schedule impacts.
- Track project progress against the baseline schedule and provide regular progress reports, including critical path analysis, to stakeholders and senior management.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and effective communication of timelines and milestones.
- Offer guidance and support to junior planners and team members.
Key Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s in business – essential.
- 1-2 years sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be hungry and motivated individual.
