Job Description

We are currently working on behalf of our trusted client who are looking for a Country Operations Manager. This is your chance to join a leading IT Infrastructure provider specialising in end to end connectivity solutions and Data Centres.

 

What You Can Expect

  • Location – Dublin 15, Ireland - Hybrid
  • Salary – €80,000 - €100,000 plus annual bonus
  • Work type – Permanent

 

Main Responsibilities as a Country Operations Manager

  • Develop and implement the operational strategy to achieve business goals.
  • Understand each client’s unique needs and develop customised operational strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Deliver strong financial performance and exceed margin expectations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Analyse existing processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement.
  • Oversee inventory and supply chain to ensure timely material availability.
  • Build and lead a high-performing operational team of project managers and on-site technicians.
  • Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimise costs and improve service quality.
  • Negotiate commercial contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Operations Director.
  • Track progress and measure the impact of operations using key metrics.
  • Visiting sites to oversee operations, delivery and performance of on-site teams.

 

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex cabling, ICT Infrastructure, technology service projects or managed services on a global scale.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with a track record of leading teams of project managers and on-site contractors.
  • Experience in contract management, including managing the delivery/operations of services promised in commercial agreements.
  • Proven experience in global operational leadership.
  • A background in Data Centres or Electrical Projects is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, financial principles and organisational dynamics.
  • Understanding contract law and common contract types such as FIDIC or other relevant frameworks.
